HAPPY Father's DAY

This Blast focuses on the roles of a Father and Father Figures that includes pity/compassion, nurturing and more for the weak; life difficulties; the love of God; and the importance of forgiveness. A must read!

Welcome to #YourDestiny, #Your Best Monday Morning Inspirational Blast:  “HAPPY Father’s DAY" Psalm 103:13 “Like as a father pities/compassion on his children, so the (All Sufficient) LORD pities them that fear/reverence Him.” Pity is love in the form of tender compassion for the weak.  Our children as babes are weak needs love, nurturing, discipline, to be taught and guided by moral and spiritual values for daily living and to mature in Christ.

Many times the roles of Father and Father Figure has not been easy. Mistakes have been made, misunderstandings, drama, took a while to land the right job and or for the business to grow, didn’t have a right relationship with God like now, health and/or other life challenges. Therefore difficulties in displaying pity/compassion. What about the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32? In this parable (story) He asked and received his inheritance from his Dad, wasted all he received in partying and fun with his “So called friends.” Now busted, broken and destitute . The prodigal son finally came to himself and decided to return home. Key verses 20-24 displays a compassionate and loving Daddy. Highlighting vs 24 “For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Jesus tells this story to help Fathers and Father Figures understand the importance of compassion. Thanks LORD for helping Fathers and Father Figures present this kind of compassion and love.

Then many times unforgiveness in ones’ heart like the prodigal son’s brother sets in. He was angry because of his Father’s compassion toward his brother. I would like to add he was also jealous of his brother. OMG can one image retaliation if this had been a friend or “So-called friend?” Yet we must forgive. Matthew 18:21-22 “Then came Peter to Him, and said, LORD, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” A lot of forgiveness----

Then Mark 11:25-26 “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” According to MacArthur Bible Commentary “Believers’ ongoing duty is to have a forgiving attitude and successful prayer requires forgiveness and faith.”

Thank You LORD for Fathers and Father Figures forgiving attitudes and successful prayer life! You are more than Sufficient. You have guided and continues to guide Fathers—Dads, grandfathers, uncles, cousins, older brothers, godfathers, coaches, teachers and men in general with the ability to “Love in the form of tender compassion for babes, children to young adults and older children/adults for daily and spiritual growth in Christ. You continue to empower them through Your Holy Spirit living within each Father and Father Figure. We are reminded that LOVE overcomes a multitude of sins/faults 1 Peter 4:8.  Continue LORD to bless all Fathers/Father Figures and the fruits of their labor in Your Son’s Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!!! HAPPY Father’s DAY.
