WHOLE HEART COMMITMENT
August 3, 2026COMMITMENT is a verbal and signed agreements, pledges or promises to do or fulfill something such as promises to our children; following the rules on the job; and making monthly payments until paid in full. Moreover all have made promises for self-improvement like cutting back on sweets, walking, and following through on previous commitments made. Most times we remember our promises whether they are personal or involve others. Imagining our COMMITMENTS are realistic and makes sense. Therefore in general we ought to plan to make good on verbal and written promises. A CALL TO REPENTANCE
July 27, 2026As parents and caretakers our children and grands received good gifts, rewards, promises, discipline, consequences and praises to help mold positive character; to correct and hold them accountable for what they say-said and did-done. Many grew up in the church learning godliness. We reiterated what they learned at church and taught moral values at home. We followed the "Footsteps" of our moms, grandmothers, other relatives, neighbors and friends reiterated church attendance which included youth activities, Youth Days and more to increase excitement and the love for Christ and His church, despite our imperfections. Blog title, A CALL TO REPENTANCE focuses on a personal invitation, healing of the land, getting God's attention, accountability and My Reflection Activity. A must read.
THE GREATEST LIGHT
July 20, 2026Sunlight is the highest-energy ever recorded is far beyond what scientists thought possible. Light from the sun can reach energies of nearly 10 trillion electron volts (Live Science, Kiley Price, 8/4/23). I cannot imagine 10 trillion electron volts. So let us think in terms of electric volts to operate the average household. A typical 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in the U.S. operates on a 120/240-volt, single-phase electrical system according to the internet. Now brings back to memory many-most are familiar with 120/240 voltage. The service panel delivers both of these voltages to different circuits depending on the power requirements of our appliances and lights. Right on… Our mother bought a dryer, but could not hooked up until more voltage was added to the house.
