The BOOK OF PSALMS were the inspired prayer and praise BOOK of Israel due to its truths in revealing real life human sufferings, victories, trials, errors, sin, judgments, rewards, favor, grace, mercy and more. There were many “Matters of the Heart,” waves of emotions that included happiness, joy, sadness, anger, praise, fear, tears, anxieties, peace, perplexities, doubts and more according to the King James Reference Bible.

In addition, the compelling realities of God’s Word (scriptures) confirms Psalms is filled with inspirations, prayers, conviction, guidance, answers, deliverance, exaltations, protection and more that addresses any real life human situations. Not just Israel’s emotions but, the needs and emotions of every believer including the availability for non-believers. Blog title, EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Note the LORD blesses unbelievers too. (He rain on the just and unjust.)

Below we have identified Psalm scriptures to confirm God’s truths, then relate to life issues and/or emotions.

Inspirations: CHRIST THE GREAT SHEPHERD IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED Therefore His provisions are more than enough to get back up and continue yours and my life journey. In times of weariness or other needs let us declare, believe and trust like David in Psalm 23:1-6. Therefore “The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. Christ the Great Shepherd supplies all my needs. The five specific areas of provisions for me are: (1) My wants and verse 2 material needs of restoration and righteousness. LORD I need spiritual refreshment like David. Lead me LORD to that green pasture because I am weary from battles of life troubles. I am thankful for Your provision of still waters that has given me rest, peace, restoration and has rejuvenated my soul.

LORD when I did not know what to do You guided me and led me to the right paths. When I was confronted with detrimental situations You provided me with Your Supernatural presence and protection in Your Secret Place. No tricks nor schemes of others nor situations could not take me out. When I was wounded body, soul and spirit You anointed my head with oil. Surely Your goodness, grace and mercy follows me all the days of my life. Then LORD once this life on earth expires for me I have a resting place of assurance, my Heavenly Home with You forever and ever...Inspirations for life and more. Thanks LORD! Praise for the Righteous Judgment of the Wicked: God’s Word Ya’ll: 9:7-11, 16 ”But the LORD shall endure forever: He hath prepared His throne for judgment. And He shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Singing praises to the LORD, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings (the upright). Yet verse 16 “The LORD is known by the judgment which He executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Selah.

Psalm 9:17-20 ”The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah. God is not playing. Who desires to be a target of His wrath? Many don’t believe LORD help them to believe. We pray for a change wicked heart to a heart of godliness. Never-the-less a consolation for the needy and oppressed and all who are disturbed by what we see. Yet we walk by faith and not by sight with continued trust in God with the expectation He will fix the situations; and thanks for fixing in advance.

Prayer when overwhelmed Psalm 61:2 “When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.

Wait upon the LORD Psalm 62:1,8 “Truly my soul waits upon God: from Him comes my salvation. Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Continue to praise and worship the LORD with an expectation. Then help someone if you can by doing small things.

Prayer for the aged: Psalm 71:5b, 18 “Thou art my trust from my youth. Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.” Thirsting to do more, renew my strength LORD…. I’m not tried yet!

Desire for worship in the House of the LORD Psalm 84:10-11 “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Teach me thy way, O LORD Psalm 86:5,13,15 “For thy, LORD art good and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee…For great is Thy mercy towards me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell…Thou, O LORD art a God full of compassion and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Moses’ Prayer Psalm 90:1-11 read; Verses 12-17 “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Adding establish Your “Good works” in us LORD and our children, children’s children from generations to generations. Amen!!!

Lastly Psalm100 “The Universal Praise in the Millennial Kingdom, is the title given to the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth. – A Hymn to Him of Praise and Thanksgiving. Five critical points of public praise and thanksgiving.

{a) It is to beUnto the LORD” verse 1 (b) We are to “serve the LORD Verse 1 “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing Verse 2. With emotions of joy and gladness. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. With a heart of Sincerity and Thanksgiving verse 4. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving. Be thankful unto Him.” With a voice of praise verses 1-2,4.EVERYTHING YOU NEED and I need is found in the BOOK OF PSALM, as well as the prophetic Word of Jesus Christ, His sufferings and more.   

Wrap Up: Psalms is the only BOOK which contains every experience of a human being; every thought, every impulse and every emotion that sweeps over the soul (heart) of mankind is recorded in Psalms. Therefore serves as a guide for every human experience and emotion with a reward for a righteous heart of eternal life forever and ever. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE if we believe.
