We examine "GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE" for today's believers, despite our disobedience the LORD sees us as His "Perfect Workmanship." We share and identify how to grow from babes in Christ to maturity, the application of God's Spirit of wisdom, His heart of love as well as the rest of His Fruits of the Spirit with supporting scriptures of "GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE" A must read!

Blog Inspirational Message GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE recognizes two facts in Judges 17:6b which are ”But every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Then throughout Judges, Israel consistently failed to obey God, seemingly immature-like children who are many times ungrateful with a sense of entitlement to their parent’s gifts. So possibly Israel felt entitled to the LORD’S grace/pity towards them. Bottom-line maybe they were not into God like that yet. Afterall this generation did not suffer nor were bound in slavery by the hands of the Egyptians. Neither were they eye witnesses of the plagues or parting of the Red Sea to escape from the hands of the Pharaoh and his army.

To ensure the current and future generations know their history, never forget God’s mighty and divine interventions-acts, as well as their ancestors hardships, deliverance, God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, their forefathers; including seed afar off; as well as the ten commandments given by God for Israel to obey. Also before Joshua’s death he reminded the people of blessings for their obedience and curses for their disobedience. Joshua told the people 24:23 “Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.” Hum…the people were still serving false gods.

The people said to Joshua in verse 24 “The LORD our God will we serve and His voice will we obey.“ Continue to read Judges where the people did “What was right in their sight.” They failed to obey the LORD’S instructions and persistently did evil which included not following God’s instructions on how to possess the land and Israel continued to commit evil against the LORD. Therefore He allowed the King of Moab to go against and defeat Israel. As a result they (Israel) served King Moab for 18 years. Yet GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE. He raised-up another deliverer for Israel. Continue reading the rest of Judges.

Now let’s fast forward to the generations of todays’ believers in Christ. GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE for us ranging from babes to maturity in Christ. We have experienced many distractions of disobedience like the Israelites. Distractions that were pleasing to our sight- right in our own eyes. Our spirit was overcome by the flesh-the follies of life. Yet in GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE He sees us as “His perfect workmanship.” Now we have been set free from the penalty of death because of sin. Having the benefits of salvation. We have a Savior who loves us, lives in us and we in Him. Our present help and more. Therefore, LORD- it is impossible to live independently without You. I/we need You LORD and welcome You in our daily affairs. Thanks Father for deliverance from those strongholds and situations that could have easily taken my mind, broke my heart or harmed someone that I love.  I also say thanks for restoration in my body, soul and spirit.

Therefore we are no longer like children tossed here and there, carried away with every wind of doctrine or the cunning and craftiness of men/women that lie and wait to deceive us. Read Ephesians 4:14. LORD we continue to be more like Psalm 1:3 “And he/she shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his/her fruit in his/her season; his/her leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he/she does shall prosper.” We are very grateful LORD that You have declared us to be Your masterpiece reaching higher heights of maturity daily in Your Son, Jesus’/Yeshua, Amen!

Signs of Maturity in Christ Through the Following

Wisdom

God’s wisdom are His divine principles in the Bible, particularly Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and James. We are  encouraged to use in our daily life situations. We desire to use God’s wisdom and guidance involving our actions, decision-making and interactions with others. We also know Proverbs talks about wisdom, slow to anger; provoke not and how to raise our children. Even though it’s probably kind of late now, but we do have grands. Then we desire good decision making in all our dealings and how to wisely interact with others when in disagreement. Identify how godly wisdom is operating in your life.

Wisdom Scriptures

First Corinthian 2:6-7 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (mature): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” Verses 10,12 “But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

Love

Having the heart of God is the reflection of His heart living within each of our heart. Thus our hearts mirrors God’s emotions, will, intellect character, intentions and love for humanity regardless of our imperfections. Remember David was a “Man after God’s own heart in spite of hardheadedness and the great sins He committed. Yet GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE towards David, as well as this generation who truly loves the LORD despite our love imperfections. Identify at least one love imperfection that you are working on and one act of love the LORD is pleased with.

Heart Scriptures

Colossians 2:2 “That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” Galatians 5:22 “The fruit of the Spirit is love.” Acts 13:22 “And when He had removed him, He raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also He gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all My will.

Fruits of the Spirit

The Bible Project reconfirms we cannot produce “spiritual fruit on our own; we cannot cause ourselves to be more gentle or work harder to be more joyful or faithful. But Scripture does suggest that human beings somehow take part in providing the conditions for the growth of spiritual fruit. In order for the life of the Vine [Jesus] to grow fruit in us, we have to firmly connect ourselves to the Vine[Jesus] by pursuing God’s way of life over our own. What conditions are needed within us-for Vine [Jesus] to produce spiritual fruit?

Fruits of the Spirit Scriptures

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. First Corinthians 13:4-5 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

It's all about GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE, His unmerited grace, mercy, favor and the residence of His Spirit lives in our hearts. The ability to empower each one of us to experience endless levels of maturity through the LORD’S Wisdom, His Heart of love including His joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance-the “Fruits of God’s Spirit!” HIS UNFAILING LOVE  Continue love and blessings!
