Welcome to #YourDestiny, #Your Best Monday Morning Inspirational Blast: “GOD’S PERFECT WILL” is not primarily the giving of our time, talents or money. HIS PERFECT WILL requires we present our bodies to Him as a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech (a pleading request) you therefore, brethren (believers), by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” for all the LORD has done for us. Romans 6 gives specific details on how to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. Thanks LORD for Your living Word and Its operating power in our body. Verse 2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed (changed) by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and PERFECT, WILL of God.” Renewing our minds from our fleshly ways of thinking and acting to God’s Spirit of holiness and righteousness for daily living. Our transformation occurs through constant Bible study and prayer. It is an inward/internal change that manifests on the outside/outwardly where we physically see the change. Romans 12 further states our transformation grants us spiritual gifts for building up the church which includes prophesying (The gift of speaking forth God's messages), ministering (Serves to reveal the plan of God for the church), teaching (Instructing in truths and doctrines of God’s Word), exhorting (People with this gift are enthusiastic about the LORD and they can motivate others), giving (People with this gift will give freely and with joy to further God’s kingdom), ruling (Administration, or leadership, involves the ability to rule in the church, pastors, other church leaders and to govern the things of God) and showing mercy (Person with this gift shows acts of compassion). Forgive those of us LORD for not living in Your PERFECT WILL, for thinking it was more about the giving of our time, talent and money for the building of Your church. But it’s more than that. Our desires are to be in Your PERFECT WILL of presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to You and the renewing of our mind for the building up of Your church. Then LORD in our “Right” relationship-striving to live more in Your PERFECT WILL sanction our dreams, desires, gifts and talents for good works, planting the seed of witnessing to others, bless our houses, good fruits of our labor to include finance and resources that support/help build Your church, blessing our family, friends, community; and personal/professional growth.
