This Monday Morning Inspirational Blast titled BE ENCOURAGE is about mountains of problems and situations too difficult to overcome appearing as though unmovable. But we share insight on a GOD Who moves mountains. Miach 1:4 “And the mountains shall be molten under Him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.”
Thus BE ENCOURAGE Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed (very tiny), ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Paul had to BE ENCOURAGE since false apostles infiltrated the Corinthian church to mislead believers from the true gospel of Christ. The church openly insulted Paul’s character that led to his sadness in their lack of loyalty to defend Him. Quite understandable since Paul previously spent 18 months with the Corinthians on his second missionary journey. He re-visited the Corinthian church to reconfirm their commitment to gospel truths, but realized they needed more time to internalize the truths, therefore left. In addition to that disappointment Paul experienced many more afflictions, stresses and imprisonment.
BE ENCOURAGE for many of us have been challenged by folks manipulating others to believe false accusations about us on the job, in the church and sometimes within our social networks, friendships and many times within our own families. The late Betty Wright hit song, title “No Pain, No Gain” highlighting a portion of her lyrics are “There was an old lady sittin' under a tree, she called me over and she said to me "My days left here may not be long. I wouldn't waste my time tellin' you nothin' wrong, But love is a flower that needs the sun and the rain, a little bit of pleasure's worth a whole lot of pain. If you learn this secret how to forgive, a longer and a better life you'll live.” Amen like being perfected in Christ! Just thinking we have difficulties accepting or seeing what we may have done or not do that has made the situation worst. Even if this is the case, let us BE ENCOURAGE, talk to God about it to see ourselves clearly and how to make things right.
So regardless of “Being talked about and abused” most of us have gone through some life challenges leading to the feelings “Down and out.” BE ENCOURAGE. We can’t image the guilt Paul must have felt as an enemy of Christ, prior to his conversion, his change. He said, “I’m striving to perfection, I have not yet arrived” in other words “I want to be more like You LORD thirsting more after Your righteousness. Nonetheless Paul was faithful to his calling in Christ Jesus and speaks to us today.
Paul says BE ENCOURAGE 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”
Then James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” We are being perfected—our earthly preparation for eternal life with Christ.
Yet several of God’s promises to BE ENCOURAGE during this earthly journey are: Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”; Jeremiah 29:11”For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”; Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the Right Hand of My righteousness”; 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”; and Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Neatbooks4u blessings and BE ENCOURAGE as we are called to righteous through Christ our present help, ENCOURAGER and strength!
