INJUSTICES VS. JUSTICE

Monday Morning Inspirational Blog centers on the Book of Micah, the prophet to Israel & Judah. Then inclusive for all that dwelled in the land. Main content & blog titled INJUSTICES VS. JUSTICE. INJUSTICES represents the people's sin & their broken covenant with God. The promises of keeping God's laws resulted to blessings and failure resulted to judgment (destruction & exile). Yet JUSTICE represents the LORD as a provider, forgives, loves, gracious, compassionate, merciful and more. Blog shares ways and scriptures to turn away from our INJUSTICES of today. So let's examine ourselves to determine what we need to "Let go & let God." Anyway we are restored believers with the assurance that Christ pours out His JUSTICE in our lives as outlined above.

The covenant started with Abram. Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD said to Abram, “Get thee out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you: And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curse you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed. How great is that blessing? Answer: Genesis 22: 17 “That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.”

Deuteronomy 29:1 ”These are the Words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. VS. 12 That you should enter into covenant with the LORD your God, and into His oath, which the LORD your God makes with you this day: 13 That He may establish you today for a people unto Himself, and that He may be unto you a God, as He had said unto you, and as He hath sworn unto your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; 15 But with him that stands here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day. Micah’s prophecy of Israel’s return to their land started one hundred years ago. In regard to restoration, on May 14, 1948 David Ben Gurion read Israel’s Declaration of Independence in Tel Aviv Israel (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem).

The prophecy of Christ fulfilled about 2,000 years ago. Luke 2:4-7 "And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with Child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn Son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn."

The New and Better Covenant Hebrews 8: 6, 10-12 But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He [Messiah, Jesus, the High Priest] is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts being perfected for righteousness: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Note: The New and Better Covenant is not “Conditional” based on anything we can do. It is entirely dependent upon God, not mankind. Our New Covenant cannot be broken by disobedience like Israel’s previous covenant with the LORD. The New Covenant gives the inner desire for righteousness, not just external restrictions-rules we must follow (Heb 8:10a). We are made or justified as righteous by the sacrifice of Jesus sinless body on the cross (1 Peter 2:21-22). The New Covenant gives a permanent relationship with the LORD (Heb 8:10b). Additionally gives us the knowledge of God (Heb 8:11). New Covenant gives the forgiveness of sin (Heb 8:12).

Gentiles Covenant Confirmation Galatians 3:14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles (includes everyone except Israel) through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Here’s the rest. Ephesians 2:12-13 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh (near) by the blood of Christ.

Yours and My Responsibilities to Christ (Heb 10:21-25) Let us draw near: (1) Seek intimacy with God “And having a high priest over the house of God;” (2) Have a sincere attitude – “With a true heart” (Heb 10:22b); (3) Have an assurance of Salvation-“In full assurance of faith” (Heb 10:22c); (4) Have freedom from guilt – “Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience” (Heb 10:22d); (5) Remain Faithful-since Christ is (Heb 10:23); “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised” (Heb 10:23); (6) We are to encourage one another to love and good works” (Heb 10:24); (7) Be faithful in church attendance, being faithful to God is being faithful to His Church for all of our lives and for all of its services (Heb10:25).

Remember you and I are: God’s Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father (1 Peter 1:2-5); We are sanctified by the Spirit-set apart, convicted and pointed to Christ “Unto obedience to the Gospel”.

Strength for Suffering from our Hope in Trials (1 Peter 1:6-9) (1) Peter commands us to put our theology (Bible Study) into practice by rejoicing even when we are suffering, knowing the following. (a) Our trials are temporary 1:6; (b) Our blessings are all eternal vs.9; (c) Our temporary trials also produce eternal blessings (Peter 1:7; 2 Cor 4:17-18); (d) Trials purify our faith (1 Peter 1:7).

Finally Strength for Suffering from Growth in Holiness (1 Peter 1:13-17). (a) Be ready—we are to shift our Minds to God’s control (vs.13a); (b) Be serious—we are to shift our Will to God’s control (vs. 13b); (c) Be focus—we are to shift our Hope to Christ’s grace (vs. 13c); (d) Be detached from our past life—we are to shift our Desires from our former evil life (vs.14); (e) Be separated—we are to shift our Lifestyles to one based on God’s holy character (vs. 15-16); and (f) Be Mindful of the Judgment—we are to shift our Fears to a reverential awe of God (vs. 17) (Taken from Faith Bible Institute).

A reminder that we serve a God who is JUSTICE, we are made righteous through His shed blood, we thank the LORD for giving us insight and His Word for: strength while  sufferings through trials, how to grow in holiness, our responsibilities to Christ and more.
