Witnessing His Goodness is based on 1 Peter 3:15 "But sanctify Christ as LORD in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence." This scripture is broken-down to increase our understanding. More is shared to help us increase Witnessing the LORD's Goodness. Light is shed on telling someone when asked, "What is your hope in the LORD?" O what a grand opportunity to share God's Goodness of forgiveness, love, restoration, eternal blessing and more. Welcome to #YourDestiny, #YourBest Monday Morning Inspirational Blast: ”WITNESSING GOD'S GOODNESS" One Peter 3:15 “But sanctify Christ as LORD in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” More on this verse. Sanctify is ones’ life set apart for Christ and recognizing Him as LORD (the Head of our lives) in our hearts (which are pure, holy and fully committed). Then always ready to make a defense (giving evidence) to everyone who asks you to give an account (testimony) for the hope (an assurance of salvation, trust, confidence in the LORD’s faithfulness and eternal blessings). Our account is told in humility and thankfulness of the LORD/GOD for HIS GOODNESS to us. We are polite and compassionate to others while giving our account. We are to reverence (honor and respect) our LORD. He is our SAVIOR, PRESENT HELP, SHIELD, DELIVERER, PEACE, JOY and MORE. We are not our own, but belongs to the LORD and are part of HIS FAMILY. So many times we have Witness God’s Goodness to include His love, forgiveness, restoration, peace, the power of His Word operating in our lives and answered prayers. Yet cannot honestly confess “I am fully committed" as I think about the time I give God and there's more I desire to do; and possibly you too. Witnessing God’s Goodness comes from the heart not our head. Witnessing God’s Goodness is also seen in our actions, not just what we say. So when we are asked to give an account of our hope in the LORD most times we respond without hesitation. But what about the opportunities to Witness God’s Goodness when no one is asking, do we hesitate or are we bold? To increase our boldness and become more spirit led, we must continue feeding our hearts to be more pure, holy and fully committed by: Praise, worship, fervent prayers, prayer list with the identified needs, praise and thanking God during prayer time, praying the Word and meditation on the Word. We benefit from resting in the LORD. While lying in the bed during or after prayer, or sitting up or on your knees declare LORD I’m resting in You. Here I am, I want You to speak to me. Show me Your way. If weary or perplexed, then LORD I’m resting in You-comfort me. I turn my situation over to You. We are silently waiting to hear from God. When we surrender ourselves to the LORD, our minds may wander off-bring it back to submission. The LORD desires to give and equip us more in Witnessing His Goodness." Look forward to your comments, share and as always, #peace, #love, #hope, #blessings, #deliverance, #belief, #Salvation #meditate and #praise. #Neatbooks4u
