Welcome to #YourDestiny, #Your Best Monday Morning Inspirational Blast: “HOLD ON, I’M COMIN” lyrics matter because it’s about love and rescue in times of trouble. Sam and Dave wanted their women to know "You can count on me, “HOLD ON, I’M COMIN” How many of us know there had to be disappointments. Sam and Dave on the road, concerts, etc. Can’t be two different spaces/places at the same time. But God who is Omnipresence. His presence is everywhere at all times. He don’t have to say “HOLD ON, I'M COMIN" because He’s already present. God-the Holy Spirit already lives in us. We can cry-out to His Spirit in us and say, “Help me LORD, I need Your comfort right now, I need Your peace right now, I need to feel You’re loving me right now!” God is LOVE and we are to love others. When we’re at low points in our lives or drowning we hope family/friends care and show love. First Corinthians 13:4-7 says, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. First John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” Romans 13:8 “Owe no man anything, but to love one another.”
Then God our RESCUER in times of trouble. Daniel 6:27 “He delivers and rescues, and He worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.” Read Chapter 6. None like God-our Father Who Hears and RESCUES. So when we are surrounded by lions of distrust, evil, mean, ignorant, insensitive and jealous people, mount of bills, disappointments, other troubles and seemingly drowning in our troubles we must: (1) Trust God (2) Pray and cry-out to God like Daniel (3) Pray for others (4) If you can, help others like the elderly (5) Go about your daily chores or routine as much as possible (6) Say affirmations like "I walk by faith and not by sight and/or find positive scriptures relating to your situation to help get through (7) Praise and thank God before your breakthrough (8) Read Ephesians 6:10-18, the weapons of warfare and take them on---put them into practice (9) Talk to your pastor, someone you have spiritual confidence in, a trusting godly family member or friend and/or (10) Don't be ashamed to seek mental health services.
I believe Sam and Dave aims were to connect and captivate their audience bringing them joy, hope and entertainment. Highlights of their history/attributes are: (1) Nicked named “Double Dynamite” (2) American Soul, R &B and gospel artists (3) Considered one of the greatest acts of 1960s (4) Biggest hit “Soul Man” that won a Grammy Award and (5) Inductees in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Let us highlight Who God is or known as: (1) EL-Mighty, Strong and Prominent (2) EL Shaddai-God Almighty and God All Sufficient (3) Yahweh-our LORD (4) Yahweh-Jireh The LORD will provide (5) Yahweh-Rophe The LORD who heals (6) Yahweh-Shalom- the LORD our Peace (7) Yahweh-Rohi-The LORD our Shepherd (8) Yahweh-Shammah-The LORD is there; and (9) Yahweh-Saboath-The LORD of Host Who is the Commander of the angelic host & the armies of God
Therefore when we seems to be drowing in our troubles LORD You are Mighty and Strong, You are my EL Shaddai because You Sufficiently meet my needs, You are Yahweh my LORD and it's in You I trust. You are Yahweh-Rophe the God who heals me and Yahweh-Rohi-the LORD my Shepherd. I shall not want! We pray “HOLD ON, I’M COMIN” Inspirational Blast blesses you and others. Many times we like to say, "Not yet LORD." Well then, when is THE RIGHT TIME? Remembering when I was 19 years old, my mother and her best friend told me, "You're going to teach Sunday School" which is in one of my books. I'll let you know which one. Anyway my response was "No, I'm not ready for that." And their reply was "Come as you are." To me they got it twisted cause I needed to be more godly. Partying was my routine since loved to dance and for many our hang-out was Big Daddy's on 119th Street. Y'all remember that? Great time dancing all night until the clock on the wall says, "That's all." Anyway, at some point started hanging out on Fridays and during the week, instead of Saturdays. I say "Damage control" since I taught the children who could not read—from the picture card. This Blog focuses on as well as, tells of Jeremiah's response when the LORD called him as a prophet to the nation of Judah as well as their conversation; inspires confidence to trust God and more!

Not only was Judah warned by Isaiah, the prophet about their pending judgement of captivity since they failed to follow God and worshipped false gods. Judah was also given the "Good News" of Renewal and New Beginnings through the prophecy of Christ-the Messiah-the Savior-the King through-the bloodline of David. Then personal promises for every believer when we fall away from Christ, experience some real life issues-crisis, then Renewals and New Beginnings for us. Yet Isaiah 43:19 "Behold, I will do a new thing;" Question: What is that "New thing" you want God to do in your life? "Now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." This verse reflects the hope and renewal that spring brings, as well as God's power to bring about new beginnings in the lives of His people; as well as seasonal change, God's faithfulness and more.
