Examining Unfinish Business, obstacles and to Move Forward. Wow the old saying? "Time waits on no one!" As we age the years seems to quickly pass by. Psalms 103:15-16 (NIV) "The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. First Peter 1:24 (NIV) For "All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall. Yet thanking God for life, asking and believing the opportunity to complete our Unfinish Business that may include fulfilling those promises made to your child or family, that class you plan to take for work promotion, starting your own business, studying for your license, writing that book, praying more and to forgive.

Inspirational Blast: Unfinish Business - “Moving Forward”

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Despite the plans God has for us, we continue to have Unfinish Business. Not prospering as we should. A self-examination is needed. Yes our obstacles are unfocused behavior, too much time on the internet, procrastination, don’t know how to get started, other obligations, feel unworthy, fear, lack of time, financial problems, does/will our Unfinish Business honor God, selfish only to please ourselves and/or operating “Out of our lane.”

“Moving Forward” regarding fear or timid 2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline (sound mind). We declare you are filled with God's power of love, self-discipline and sound mind! Yes one overcomes fear by trusting God, mediating on scriptures related to your situation. An example: Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) "So do not fear" (I do not fear LORD), “For I am with you” (I know You are with me); “Do not be dismayed” (I’m not sad, nor disappointed), “For I am your God” (I know You are my God). "I will strengthen you and help you" (I know it's You that strengthens and helps me); "I will uphold you with my righteous Right Hand." God's Right Hand is a place of Honor and Status. Jesus is seated at the Right Hand of God. God's Right Hand represents His ultimate power and authority! Giving you all I got---This place of Honor and Status includes God's Promises, Protection, Provision and Salvation for you and I.

The prophet, Habakkuk cried-out to God. He was burdened and asked God two questions. Read Habakkuk first and second Chapters. However focusing on Chapter 2:2-3 (NIV) God answered Habakkuk’s cry. Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation (vision) and make it plain on tablets so that a herald (messenger and replace with you). that you may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. Even though Habakkuk situation was different, he was burdened. Are you burdened or desire to complete your Unfinish Business? If you said yes, then let us also focus on the principle which is crying out to God like Habakkuk about your Unfinish Business and desire to Move Forward.

In “Moving Forward” as God speaks to you or you already know God favors your Moving Forward because His Word confirms the desires of your hearts are pleasing to Him. Like Habakkuk you must write the vision down, to make it plain for your understanding; with steps to accomplish the vision or goals and timelines to complete the steps/goals. One must purposefully work toward and commit to accomplishing Unfinish Business. To consistently focus on Unfinish Business make a reasonable schedule that is doable. Then as your schedule allows increase more time to complete Unfinish Business. May seems like taking too long, hold on. Someone once said, “Do at least one thing daily toward completing Unfinish Business.” If Unfinish Business is personal involving relationships, especially others forgiving you always seek professional, wise and/or godly counsel to help with the process. Other people may not respond positively—therefore creating more hurt and anger. It is important to be careful, mindful of the other person’s feelings and not become offended if rejected or the other person does not want to meet with you. Again do not approach the other person on your own, someone skillful in mediation, operate in love and unbiased is recommended, not to do on your own.
