Welcome to this Monday Morning Inspirational Blog. We are reminded life is filled with the "Bitter and the sweet" which more than often presents uncomfortable and overwhelming events in our lives. This leads to the unimaginable events that took place in the Second Book of Samuel 15:1-Chapter 19. This hurtful event was Absalom's scheme to overtake, dethrone his father, King David's rule over Israel. David's immediate action was to escape from the hands of his son. Therefore a massive exodus from Jerusalem into the wilderness that consisted of David and mostly all the people. In the people's travel there was a loud cry of weeping. In the wilderness, the David that we know-the prayer warrior, worshipper and more "Came to himself. The title of this Blog is SURRENDER" which shares the meaning of SURRENDER, the various events encountered, how this battle was not David's, but the LORD'S and insight for us on coping with life "Bitterness."

We are diving into the Book of First Samuel, focusing on the plight of Hannah's, brokenness, faithfulness, steadfastness in the LORD and the strife between her and the other wife that caused family discord and more. She prayed to the HE HEARS, HE ANSWERS the same petition year after year. How many of us would have given up? Happy Women's History Month featuring Deborah, the Lady of Distinction. She was known as a "Fearless Patriot, the 5th Judge of Israel, Prophetess, Agitator suggesting activist and decisive action, Warrior, Poetess, Wife, Maternal Figure and most of all her trust in God as she sat under her Palm tree to rule in righteousness translating the revelation of God. Her heart was filled with "Grace divine" like a sweet smelling savor over the whole land representing God." The scripture references are Judges 4 and 5, Hebrews 11:32-34. Blog dives into Deborah's attributes and the many ways todays' women are a reflection of Deborah.
How do we maintain a HEART that's pleasing to God while pressing or going through life battles or troubles in the home, on the job and other situations impacting our lives? Proverbs 4:23 says we are to "Keep our heart with all diligence (carefully), for out of it springs the issues of life." Yes GOD's ENDLESS LOVE for us is all the above in this life and that to come. In Romans 5:8 God commends His LOVE towards us.
