Welcome to this Monday Morning Inspirational Blog. We are reminded life is filled with the "Bitter and the sweet" which more than often presents uncomfortable and overwhelming events in our lives. This leads to the unimaginable events that took place in the Second Book of Samuel 15:1-Chapter 19. This hurtful event was Absalom's scheme to overtake, dethrone his father, King David's rule over Israel. David's immediate action was to escape from the hands of his son. Therefore a massive exodus from Jerusalem into the wilderness that consisted of David and mostly all the people. In the people's travel there was a loud cry of weeping. In the wilderness, the David that we know-the prayer warrior, worshipper and more "Came to himself. The title of this Blog is SURRENDER" which shares the meaning of SURRENDER, the various events encountered, how this battle was not David's, but the LORD'S and insight for us on coping with life "Bitterness."
Welcome to this Monday Morning Blog Inspirational Message "NO LONGER BOUND," This lesson is found in the Book of Numbers. We speak about Israel's "Wilderness wandering" experiences. Their struggles to trust God, despite He rescued them from bondage, continued provisions in the wilderness, guidance, God's readiness for Israel to take part in possession of the promised land filled with milk and honey as well as Israel's seemingly "Panic attack," and rebellion. We examine believers' "Wilderness wandering" experiences, note in the presence of the LORD and finally the meaning of NO LONGER BOUND. A must read.
Welcome to this Monday Morning Blog Inspirational Message "HOLINESS," The key word of Leviticus occurring 87 times. HOLINESS, a big deal that is commanded by God. This blog acknowledges Israel remains the redeemed (rescued) children of God-His chosen people regardless of what we see happening in the world. Their family blood-line includes King David's seed Jesus/Yeshua, the Savior of the world to come. This blog notes Israel's deliverance, explores their journey through the wilderness and mandates from God to a "New way of life." Then recognizing the best "New way of life" as a "Born again" believer of the New Testament teachings built on Jesus/Yeshua, the Rock of our salvation.
Paving the Way is based on the Messenger, John the Baptist crying out in the wilderness preparing the way for Jesus, the LORD's coming for the remission of sin. Calling the people to repentance and preparing their hearts to accept Jesus as their Savior-the Chosen One. This message is still prevalent for today. A calling all to repentance for our sins and to accept the LORD as our Savior. This assignment is not just for preachers and teachers of the gospel, but for all believers. Our ability to Paving the Way is with God's help. We are assigned to Pave the Way for others that begins with loved ones in our home and outreach to others.
