Welcome to #YourDestiny, #Your Best Monday Morning Inspirational Blast: “THE RAIN” I was listening to Yolanda Adams sing “Someone is Watching Over You. “Even if it Rains outside, there is light. Even if you cry all night, you're alright. Even if--lose your way, you'll get through cause there is Someone watching you.” Rain in this context are situations. So in the midst of situations Yolanda says, "There is Light--Jesus is the Light directing our path making the way clear. A good cry--the Rain of tears cleansing for our body, soul and spirit. Now I can move on with courage and faith. I will get through cause God is working that situation out for my good. THE RAIN--this Inspirational Blast is presented in the context of God's spiritual provisions for us and the significance of RAIN in the earth. First focusing on earth. Scientists says, "RAIN and snow falling from the skies to earth are key elements in the earth's water system, Rainfall is the main way the earth is watered and is vital to all life on Earth.” Acts 14:17 testifies how God meets our Rain needs on earth. “Yet He [God] has not left Himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you RAIN from heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” More on Rain. It falls at different levels. We or I like to say, “It’s sprinkling outside” (little drops of rain). Desiring to get it right I cruised the internet and stumbled upon the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website. I found a rain calculator and the correct types of Rain and descriptions. So Drizzle, the correct name are very small droplets. Slight is fine drizzle detectable as droplets only on the face, car windscreens (windbreaks, barriers) and windows. Then from slight rain to violent shower with each description includes the rain measurement per hour (s) or less. Scientists or man understands a small measure of God's creative work in the earth. But our Heavenly Father is the Creator of RAIN on earth. Now the spiritual context of RAIN in our lives. Matthew 5:45 “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends Rain on the just and on the unjust.” What is God's RAIN? God's RAIN is a symbol of His love, blessings and provisions in addition to cleansing and purification. In Genesis 7 we learn of Noah and the flood on earth due to corruption and evilness. God cleanse and purified the earth. Then when the earth was ready God RAIN the earth with blessings and renewal. More on God's provision. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God desires all to be saved and none lost. Like the RAIN on earth falls in different levels our relationships with Christ are at different levels. Are we like Drizzle to slight RAIN that folks can barely see or detect our love for Christ? In other words our relationships are like babes in Christ. Still drinking Enfamil and/or eating Gerber baby food? Or have we matured to meat (solid food)? So we are matured in Christ. Therefore with God's RAIN of His love, joy, peace, comfort, deliverance and more we are able to endure and overcome life obstacles with increase faith and hope. Not through our own power, but the Spirit of Christ. Nothing we can brag about of ourselves. Therefore LORD forgive us where we are weak--where we have sinned. All have sinned and fall short of Your glory. Continue to cleanse and purify us. We praise, worship, honor and exalt Your Holy name. We thank You for the downpouring of Your RAIN, Your Provisions in our lives and we are pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!!!
