Thinking back over our lifetime there are broken promises we have made but forgotten about or were reminded of by our children and/or grands. Broken promises due to distractions or self-will for self-gratification. Some distractions were unavoidable due to what was going on at that time. Some promises made with no intentions of keeping for whatever reasons. Therefore, welcome to Monday Inspirational Blog titled, THE PROMISE KEEPER, a sinless God. COMMITMENT is a verbal and signed agreements, pledges or promises to do or fulfill something such as promises to our children; following the rules on the job; and making monthly payments until paid in full. Moreover all have made promises for self-improvement like cutting back on sweets, walking, and following through on previous commitments made. Most times we remember our promises whether they are personal or involve others. Imagining our COMMITMENTS are realistic and makes sense. Therefore in general we ought to plan to make good on verbal and written promises. As parents and caretakers our children and grands received good gifts, rewards, promises, discipline, consequences and praises to help mold positive character; to correct and hold them accountable for what they say-said and did-done. Many grew up in the church learning godliness. We reiterated what they learned at church and taught moral values at home. We followed the "Footsteps" of our moms, grandmothers, other relatives, neighbors and friends reiterated church attendance which included youth activities, Youth Days and more to increase excitement and the love for Christ and His church, despite our imperfections. God sent him to the people of Edom. Genesis chapter 25 tells of Edom's origins. They were the descendants of Esau. He was Jacob's older twin brother and the family-line of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Many family dysfunctions included favoritism and deceit. Verse 22 records the twins also struggled together in their mother's womb. No different from many families today. What are your thoughts? Blog titled, GOD'S LOVE IS REAL focuses on Hosea known as a "Minor prophet." Not because his message is of no substance, because he continues speaking to us today. The All-Knowingly God knew before time Israel would "Turn their back" on Him. Yet because of His unfailing LOVE the LORD still led their escape out of Egypt. Think about the love of a parent. We still go the extra mile for our children too. The LORD warned Israel "Not to worship false idols." They sinned anyhow. We share GOD'S emotional pain, like us when hurt by those we love; the magnitude of God's love is demonstrated through the metaphor of a Marital contract; finally expression of GOD'S LOVE through His covenant (promise) for his people Israel; every believe and those to come to realize more and more that GOD'S LOVE IS REAL and inclusive.

Not only was Judah warned by Isaiah, the prophet about their pending judgement of captivity since they failed to follow God and worshipped false gods. Judah was also given the "Good News" of Renewal and New Beginnings through the prophecy of Christ-the Messiah-the Savior-the King through-the bloodline of David. Then personal promises for every believer when we fall away from Christ, experience some real life issues-crisis, then Renewals and New Beginnings for us. Yet Isaiah 43:19 "Behold, I will do a new thing;" Question: What is that "New thing" you want God to do in your life? "Now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." This verse reflects the hope and renewal that spring brings, as well as God's power to bring about new beginnings in the lives of His people; as well as seasonal change, God's faithfulness and more.
